Campus Parking
If you were not able to book a room at the Hilton and need to park on campus, please email john.edwards@drake.edu by October 7 and indicate the days on which you will need a parking pass. See the campus maps for the parking lot available with a pass.
Downtown Des Moines Parking
If you think you will be parking in downtown Des Moines at some point, you might want to download and set up the city parking app ahead of time.
Des Moines Transportation
Uber and Lyft both operate in the Des Moines metro.
Trans Iowa offers two taxi services:
- Capitol Cab: 515-282-8111
- Yellow Cab: 515-243-1111

- Fares- $1.75/adult
- Check local routes.
- Free D-Line Downtown Shuttle (route 42)
- Route 42 runs in a loop, every 15 minutes from the Iowa State Capitol complex in the East Village to the Western Gateway-no fare needed.
- Operation hours are Weekdays: 6:30am-6pm and Weekends: 8am-5pm
Rent a bike for a short ride. Can pick up at one bicycle station and drop off at another. E-Bikes also available.
