Welcome to the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries (MAALL) website. The association's members represent law libraries of all types throughout a broad swath of the central United States. The President's welcome explains more about this vibrant organization and the resources available on the site.

The Executive Board of the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries (MAALL) stands in solidarity with activists and organizations advocating for an end to racism, police brutality and other police misconduct, and all forms of violence and marginalization against Black people and Black communities.

Black Lives Matter.

The horrific deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless Black people across the country, due to systemic and individual racism, injustice, and intolerance, compels the Executive Board to call upon MAALL members and legal information professionals everywhere to take decisive and determined action to be stewards of peace, justice, empowerment, inclusion, and cultural competence.

The Executive Board pledges to develop, foster, and advance these actions among MAALL members and MAALL member institutions, in order to bring meaningful and lasting improvement to the lives and communities of all whom we reach.

MAALL members are invited to join the Executive Board in participating in the 21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge© and MAALL Forum Discussion.
