The Electronic Services and Systems Librarian is an integral part of the library staff and is responsible for managing the ILS, cataloging, serials control, collection maintenance, and the compilation of statistics.  The ESS librarian is responsible for maintaining access to the library’s electronic resources. The position also provides circulation and ready reference assistance to patrons and works closely with other departments to develop library policies and services. Additionally, the ESS librarian works with the Assistant Director for Access and Collection Services to optimize the use of library space and technology.
