[1] The roles of secretary and treasurer were combined until 1978.

[2] Jacobs petitioned for AALL chapter status in June 1975.

[6] In 1990, the Executive Board voted to shorten the terms of president and vice president/president-elect from two years in each office to one year per stage. The terms of secretary and treasurer remained two years. The motion took effect with the election of officers in 1992.

[7] In 1992, the secretary and treasurer began to serve staggered terms, with the secretary elected in even years and the treasurer elected in odd years. Nyberg agreed to serve as treasurer for an additional year, until the 1993 election.
