    The Technical Services Librarian reports to the Director of the Mabee Legal Information Center and provides leadership, management, and evaluation of all aspects of the library’s system administration, cataloging, government documents, stacks maintenance, microform and archival functions, procedures and related staff. Serves as the overall Innovative System (or subsequently selected systems) Administrator for the MLIC. Functions include oversight of the following: circulation; cataloging; serials; technical processing; government documents; stacks maintenance; archives; and bindery. Responsible for the hiring and management of the student stacks maintenance workers. Catalogs all law serials, electronic resources, integrated resources, microforms and original works. Maintains cataloging & serials statistics and produces management reports. Serves as the Government Depository Coordinator. Trains, supervises, and evaluates part-time library assistants. Prepares the archival collections of the College of Law. Specializes in the teaching of the integrated library system and online catalog to instruct students in the basics of locating and understanding the records for treatises and periodicals, etc., including providing demonstrations on both these topics and others as assigned by the Director.
