Faculty Services Librarian - Chicago-Kent College of Law Library

The Chicago-Kent College of Law Library is looking for a service-oriented professional to work with our very productive law faculty as the Faculty Services Librarian. The Faculty Services Librarian will maintain and promote faculty scholarship by managing the collection, maintenance, and marketing of faculty scholarship in Scholarly Commons, Selected Works, SSRN, and other platforms. This position may also assist faculty in adopting digital course materials and best practices for organizing course websites. The Faculty Services Librarian provides research assistance and instruction that serves faculty, students, and the educational programs of the Law School. This position also supervises a faculty support team who handles various clerical and technical tasks, assisting faculty with their teaching, scholarship, administrative, and professional service responsibilities.

The Chicago-Kent College of Law Library is located in the West Loop near downtown Chicago, one of the largest legal markets in the country. The Law Library advances the academic and scholarly success of students and faculty by providing future-focused training and professional research assistance to a diverse community. The Law Library fosters respect for all community members and ideas; supports the learning experience with strategies, services, and space; connects community members to resources in the library, the law school, and beyond; and equips students with practice-ready, strategic skills for their careers. The position is a full-time position and is available immediately.
