Following the shift of the AALL Annual Meeting to a virtual event format, the RIPS-SIS Grants Committee is accepting grant applications from RIPS-SIS members to cover the registration cost. The deadline is June 15, 2020, and application forms are available at https://www.aallnet.org/ripssis/awards-grants/. Unlike the traditional RIPS-SIS Annual Meeting Grant, there is no letter or recommendation required for this virtual event grant.

Purpose
The RIPS-SIS 2020 Virtual Event Grant is designed to assist individuals in covering registration expenses for the 2020 Virtual Event. The grants are funded by RIPS-SIS and awarded by the RIPS-SIS Grants Committee.
Criteria
Applicants must be AALL and RIPS-SIS members. In the event that circumstances prevent the use of the grant by the grant recipient, the grant shall revert back to RIPS-SIS. If a grant recipient receives an additional grant, the recipient must inform RIPS-SIS of the award and the amount, as RIPS-SIS reserves the right to withdraw or modify the grant in this circumstance.
Recipients will be awarded a grant that can be used for meeting registration; receipts must be provided for reimbursement. The amount of the grant will be either $99 for those employed, or $49 for those who are retired, matching the registration pricing shown at https://www.aallnet.org/conference/register/.
Please note that students and those unemployed are eligible for complimentary registration, so there is no need to apply for this grant.
